Halloween
halloween-pumpkins.jpg

Also known as All Hallows Night, Day of the Dead, All Saints' Eve, Pooky Night; Halloween is celebrated every 31st of October. Spirits purportedly arisen from the dead roaming in our world on that night.

To attract these spirits, food are offered.  To scare the evil spirits away, masks are worn.  Halloween festival recipes are therefore named after supernaturally gross items.
