New Year Recipes - Crispy Prawns with Cabbage Ingredients: 10 Big prawns, peeled 1 teaspoon Sugar Batter 50 g Flour 50 g Cornflour 50 ml Beer 3 tabelspoons Oil Cabbage leaves 2 tablespoons Water Salt and freshly ground white pepper to taste Procedures: - Rinse prawns, and thoroughly pat dry with paper towels.
- Mix the prawns with sugar and pepper.
- Make the batter. Add the flour, beer, oil, water and salt into a bowl, mix evently until smooth.
- Dip the prawns into batter.
- Heat the oil in the frying pan, add prawns to deep fry until golden brown and crispy.
- Carefully remove prawns from oil, and drain prawns.
- Serve with raw or cooked cabbage leaves.
