Christmas Recipes - Creamy Seafood Soup Ingredients: 1 litre Soup base or vegetable stock 1 cup Cream of mushroom 1 Potato, sliced 1 Onion, chopped 2 sticks Sprigs thyme 50 g Shrimps 50 g Fish meat 50 g Carb meat 50 g Mussels 6 Button mushrooms, sliced 20 g Mixed beans (black eye peas, chick peas and Kidney beans) 1 Potato, mashed Freshly ground black pepper to taste
Procedures: - Add the soup base or stock, cream of mushroom, potato, onion and sprigs thyme into a pot.
- Bring to the boil, reduce to low heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Add the shrimps, fish meat, crab meat, mussels, button mushroom and beans.
- Bring to boil and simmer slowly for further 20 minutes.
- Stir in mashed potatoes and add pepper to taste.
