Christmas Recipes - Creamy Seafood Soup

Ingredients:
1 litre Soup base or vegetable stock
1 cup Cream of mushroom
1 Potato, sliced
1 Onion, chopped
2 sticks Sprigs thyme
50 g Shrimps
50 g Fish meat
50 g Carb meat
50 g Mussels
6 Button mushrooms, sliced
20 g Mixed beans (black eye peas, chick peas and Kidney beans)
1 Potato, mashed
Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Procedures:

  1. Add the soup base or stock, cream of mushroom, potato, onion and sprigs thyme into a pot.
  2. Bring to the boil, reduce to low heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  3. Add the shrimps, fish meat, crab meat, mussels, button mushroom and beans.
  4. Bring to boil and simmer slowly for further 20 minutes.
  5. Stir in mashed potatoes and add pepper to taste.
