Thanksgiving Recipes - German Style Potatoes Ingredients: 500 g Potatoes, peeled and diced 1 Onion, sliced 1 teaspoon finely chopped Garlic 4 slices Bacon, sliced 1 tablespoon Olive oil Salt and ground white pepper 1/2 teaspoon finely chopped Celery Procedures: - Soak potatoes in clean water for 3 minutes.
- Boil the potatoes in unsalted water for 15 minutes until soft.
- Remove potatoes from hot water.
- Heat the oil in a pan. Add the onion, garlic and bacon stir fry for 3 minutes until onion become soft.
- Reduce to medium heat and pour in the potatoes stir fry gentlely for another 5 minutes.
- Add in salt and pepper to taste.
- Sprinkle with chopped celery and serve.
