Halloween Recipes - Fried Monster Eye Balls Ingredients: 300 g finely minced pork meat 100 g finely minced prawn meat 1 tablespoon chopped spring onion 1 tablespoon chopped celery 1 tablespoon chopped parsley 1 tablespoon chopped carrot 1 tablespoon Cornflour Salt and freshly ground white pepper to taste 4 Lettuce leaves 2 Japanese cucumbers, sliced 2 Tomatoes, sliced Procedures: - In a large stockpot or fryer, heat oil to 400°F (200°C).
- Mix the pork meat, prawn meat, spring onion, celery, parsley, carrot and flour until smooth and even.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Roll the mixture into meat balls and place in drain basket.
- Slowly lower basket into hot oil to completely cover meat balls.
- Maintain the temperature of the oil at 350°F (175°C), and cook meat balls until golden brown, ~ 15 minutes.
- Carefully remove basket from oil, and drain meat balls.
- Arrange the lettuce leaves on a serving dish and pour the meat balls on top.
- Serve with cucumbers and tomatoes.
