Thanksgiving Recipes - Turkey Gravy with Red Wine and Vegetable

Ingredients:
2 Potatoes
200 g Carrot
1 Onion
2 Tomatoes
2 stalks Fresh celery
1 stalk Fresh leek
1 teaspoon Salt
1000 ml Water
250 ml Red wine 

Procedures:

  1. Make the sauce. Cut pottatoes, carrot, onion tomatoes, celery and leek into small pieces.
  2. Add all the vegetables in a sauce pan and pour in water.
  3. Bring to the boil, simmer over medium heat for 30 minutes until the vegetables are cooked thoroughly and soft.
  4. Remove from heat, pound the sauce and vegetables into a food processer until become gravy.
  5. Strain well and set aside.
  6. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pan. Add the sauce and bring to the boil.
  7. Cook and stir over medium heat until the sauce is slightly thick.
  8. Add red wine and salt, cook for a while.
