Christmas Recipes - Broiled Chicken Wings

Ingredients:

1 pound Chicken wings, tips removed
3 tablespoons Lemon juice
3 tablespoons Soy sauce
1/8 teaspoon Onion powder
1 tablespoon Honey
1 tablespoon Catsup
Fresh ground pepper to taste

Procedures:

  1. Cut wings into 2 pieces, and place in a shallow dish.
  2. Mix lemon juice, soy sauce, and onion powder, pour over the chicken wings.
  3. Cover and marinate wings in refrigerator several hours or overnight.
  4. Drain chicken wings, reserving 1 tablespoon marinade; place wings on a foil-lined broiler pan.
  5. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  6. Combine reserved marinade with honey, and catsup, stirring well; brush half of mixture on chicken wings.
  7. Broil 6 to 7 inches from broiler for 7 minutes. Turn and brush with remaining sauce;  broil 7 additional minutes.
