Bake Sausage with Spinach PDF Print E-mail

New Year Recipes -Bake Sausage with Spinach

Ingredients:
3/4 lb. Bulk sausage (Jimmy Dean's)
1 (16 oz.) Loaf frozen bread
1 (10 oz.) pkg. Frozen chopped spinach
8 oz. Shredded Mozzarella cheese

Procedures:

  1. Thaw dough and spinach overnight in refrigerator.
  2. Cook and drain sausage; set aside.
  3. Roll dough into 15x8 rectangle.
  4. Sprinkle cheese over dough. Top with sausage and spinach.
  5. Seal long sides together, then seal ends.
  6. Place loaf on greased baking sheet.
  7. Brush with egg white. Sprinkle with seed, if desired.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes at 350 degrees. Let stand for 5 minutes.
