Christmas Recipes - Two Tone Choc Chip Biscuits Ingredients: 125 g/ 4 oz Butter 280 g/ 9 oz Brown sugar 2 Eggs lightly beaten 1 teaspoon Bicarbonate of soda 310 g/ 9 + 3/4 oz Plain flour 150 g/ 4 + 3/4 oz Dark chocolate bits 150 g/ 4 + 3/4 oz White chocolate bits
Procedures: - Preheat oven to moderate 350°F.
- Brush 2 oven trays with melted butter or oil. Line with baking paper.
- Using electric beaters, beat the sugar and butter until light and creamy.
- Add eggs gradually, beating well after each addition.
- Transfer to a large bowl.
- Using a metal spoon, fold soda, sifted flour and chox bits into creamed mixture. Mix until smooth.
- Drop level tablespoons of mixture onto prepared trays, allowing for spreading; flatten mixture slightly.
- Bake 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned and cooked though.
- Transfer to wire rack to cool.
