Two Tone Choc Chip Biscuits PDF Print E-mail

Christmas Recipes - Two Tone Choc Chip Biscuits 

ImageIngredients:
125 g/ 4 oz Butter
280 g/ 9 oz Brown sugar
2 Eggs lightly beaten
1 teaspoon Bicarbonate of soda
310 g/ 9 + 3/4 oz Plain flour
150 g/ 4 + 3/4 oz Dark chocolate bits
150 g/ 4 + 3/4 oz White chocolate bits

Procedures:

  1. Preheat oven to moderate 350°F.
  2. Brush 2 oven trays with melted butter or oil. Line with baking paper.
  3. Using electric beaters, beat the sugar and butter until light and creamy.
  4. Add eggs gradually, beating well after each addition.
  5. Transfer to a large bowl.
  6. Using a metal spoon, fold soda, sifted flour and chox bits into creamed mixture. Mix until smooth.
  7. Drop level tablespoons of mixture onto prepared trays, allowing for spreading; flatten mixture slightly.
  8. Bake 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned and cooked though.
  9. Transfer to wire rack to cool.
