Thanksgiving Recipes - Spicy Spare Ribs Ingredients: 1-2 kg Pork spare rib, thickly cut Marinade 250 ml mild 2 Onions, finely chopped 2 Cloves garlic, crushed 1 Teaspoon vinegar 1 Teaspoon mild mustard 1 Teaspoon ground ginger 2 Teaspoons worcestershire sauce 2 Teaspoons soya sauce 2 Teaspoon melted butter Salt and black pepper Procedures: - Preheat the oven to 170°C/gas 3. Place the spare ribs, bone upwards, in an oblong dish or pan.
- Mix together all the marinade ingredients and apply over the spare ribs.
- Bake in oven for ~45 minutes.
- Turn the spare ribs over, and apply with the merinade.
- Bake in oven for ~45 minutes again.
- Apply once or twice with merinade during cooking.
- When the bones are almost separating from the meat, the dish is ready.
- Cut the spare ribs into portions.
- Serve with baked potatoes, boiled broccoli and apple sauce.
