Halloween Recipes - Alcoholic Bat Ingredients: 1 Chicken (1.5 kg) 3 tablespoons Butter 10 Small Onions 20 Button mushrooms 50 ml Brandy 150 ml White wine 300 ml Double cream 4 Tomatoes 1 Apple 15 Green olives 1 bay Leaf 1 teaspoon Curry powder 1 teaspoon Thyme 1 teaspoon Tarragon 1/2 teaspoon finely chopped chives 1/2 teaspoon finely chopped parsley Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste Procedures: - Cut the chicken into pieces.
- Peel and chop the tomatoes. Peel, core and dice the apple.
- Melt the butter in a pan. Peel the onions and brown the onions lightly.
- Remove the onions and set aside.
- Pour the button mushrooms in the pan and fry for 2-3 minutes.
- Remove the button mushrooms and set aside.
- Pour the chicken in the pan and brown the chicken pieces all over.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Add in brandy and heat gently.
- Add in white wine, cream, tomatoes, apple, olives, bay leaf, curry powder, thyme, tarragon and the browned onions.
- Simmer over low heat for 20 minutes.
- Add in fried mushrooms.
- Sprinkle with finely chopped chives and parsley.
